Hi there! My name is Sara. I was born and raised in Madrid, the city that has my heart. Yet, since I can remember, the idea of travelling the world and speaking other languages has been a bit of a healthy obsession to me. I have always felt the tension between these two forces in my life, the love for my hometown and the need to leave my comfort zone and discover new places. I spent my college years in Madrid, graduating with a Masters in Fine Arts and developed a career as an Art Educator. Ultimately, my nomadic spirit pushed me to live and work in other places. Italy, the Basque Country, and the USA were part of this fascinating journey. Living 10 years outside of Madrid renewed my appreciation and love for this place. Since I returned 5 years ago, I feel blessed to have been able to transform my passion into a way of living! Being a tour guide is something I truly love. As a traveler myself, facilitating the discovery and enjoyment of Madrid and its surrounding areas to others is a privilege. This city has so much to offer and is full of contrasts. It is a cosmopolitan metropolis, but some neighborhoods still preserve the atmosphere of a little quaint town. Its architecture and museums are incredible, its cultural and entertainment options seem endless and its surrounding areas are magnificent.
