Hi, my name is Samantha and it is very nice meeting you! Hailing from Singapore, I have been living in Japan for 16 years with my family. In 2024, I embarked on a 2-week trip to Saudi Arabia. Hisma Desert has become one of my favorite destinations ever. I also love Voluntourism ( combining traveling and volunteering ) In 2017, I volunteered at an orphanage in Nepal whilst trekking the mountains of Pokhara. Looking after abused dogs ( my favorite animal ) in a Romanian shelter in 2022 is another highlight. My experience as a guide began with private tours for family and friends who have visited me throughout all these years. I love Japan very much and have gathered an extensive knowledge of its culture, traditions and places. I encourage every traveler to visit Tokyo because it is a fascinating juxtaposition of old and new. In Tokyo you can soak in the mystical energy of temples and be awed by stunning modern architecture. Then, you can visit markets to indulge in the freshest seafood or head to a local izakaya ( tavern ) for an authentic Japanese dining experience.
