I've studied beers, wine, spirits, and coffee. I've done many food and cooking workshops in the Netherlands and abroad. For example oysters and chocolates in Holland, truffles and cheeses in France, pasta and dolce in Italy. I drive across the country just to buy the best produce, delicacies, and ingredients from artisan producers and small organic farmers. I also order 100 years aged Balsamic vinegar from Modena in Italy, craftsman soy sauces brewed in wooden barrels from Tokyo in Japan, and the best handmade chocolates in the world from Paris in France. But most of all I enjoy tasting locally produced food and deciding which products I think are the best and most delicious. When I have a new find I can't wait to have family and friends taste it too. I am an experienced amateur chef. Every day I prepare a nice meal; sometimes luxurious, but most days just tasteful with simple, but healthy and top-quality ingredients. I cut my own fries and make my own mayonnaise; which in Holland we put on the fries. When I don't cook we like to visit the best restaurants in the country. We often visit Michelin star restaurants and have traveled to many different countries, just to eat in a Michelin *** restaurant. Did I tell you, I am all about food?
