Hello dear guests! My name is Marina and I am an official licensed tour guide for Dubrovnik and Dubrovnik-Neretva county. I was born in Dubrovnik, but I moved to Munich when I was a child and love to my homeland brought me back in 2004. Today I am proud to be a tour guide in my home town to numerous guests from all over the world. I studied at RIT Dubrovnik (Rochester Institute of Technology) and I graduated in 2009 with major in Small Business. My broad experience and education enables me to discuss many different topics. During the off season , I like travelling and exploring new places and cultures . My favorite way to get to know a country is through their food, local stories and places. Before I decided to become a guide I worked at several hotels at the front desk and sales department ( Hilton Dubrovnik, Radisson Blu, Palace) . The reason why I left hotel industry is that I needed more space for creativity and I wanted to do my own 'thing' . I was trying to combine work and passion that finally brought me to the decision to become a local guide. Since 2011 I am enjoying every single day by meeting different people from all over the world and showing them the beauty of my home town.
