Guide #55450
11 years ago, I quit a very cushy job in Canada, packed my bags and moved to Paris. I knew a new adventure was waiting for me across the ocean in Paris. The city of lights did not disappoint me with music, croissants, cheese, wine and a "je ne sais quoi" charm! Paris… has a soul. Nostalgic or new, classic or trendy, I can tailor your Parisian experience to make you fall in love, as I did 11 years ago dancing the night away along the Seine river with the locals, watching the boats happily sail by and the night light up the Pont Alexander like la vie en rose. Pick me as your tour guide, and I guarantee to give you 100%. I am adaptable to any pace and environment. In fact at the Louvre, I have memorized all the wheelchair routes! I love to tell you stories and I can talk all day long about history, local events, and surroundings in Paris. I live in a dream world for foodies filled with adventures and historical masterpieces and I can't wait to share all of that with you! I also have access to a fleet of professional chauffeurs using mainly Mercedes at any time in Paris (and out of the city). One (or two) day excursions are available to Versailles, Loire Valley, and the Champagne region. Private boat tours and luxury picnics are my latest endeavours, so I would love to take part in arranging your special events as well. I hold an official French tour guide license which means that I can guide you in all French museums and monuments providing a skip the line service for most of them. I graduated with an art history degree from the University of British Columbia, Canada, with special emphasis on 19th century European art and architecture. Over a decade of tour guiding experience in Paris has enriched and fortified my focus on French art, architecture, culture and food to another level. I have studied acrylic painting and web design in school and I continue to pursue my artistic interests by assisting in wedding and couples photoshoots. A bit of a world traveller myself, I've trekked through over 25 countries and have guided large groups through 4 of them. In the off season, you can find me involved in volunteer work projects throughout Thailand and Southeast Asia. I think my greatest joy however is living vicariously through you when you take my tours. Hearing you laugh at my silly jokes, watching your eyes fill with amazement as I unveil an artifact, monument, or tourist site, and most of all, listening to your stories about your home country. It's really a dream when I come to work every day or when I'm in my Zoom rooms to be able to touch so many lives and to share joy!
