I also offer organised gondola tours along and guided visits to ancient sites and galleries. Furthermore, I can provide suggestions to taste traditional Venetian recipes or for exhibitions about Venetian jewellery or glass-blowing techniques; all within the comfort of a friendly atmosphere, as well as customized packages tailored to your preferences. I can offer excellent knowledge of my homeland's culture, geography and traditions, being a passionate promoter of Venice's natural beauty and its cultural landmarks, inviting visitors to appreciate its charm just like locals do. I've been a teacher of English in high schools since 1987 when I moved to Venice from Naples, where I was born and raised. I developed an interest in modern Architecture and Design when I started teaching at the Venice Art School. Hence, besides the language, I teach my students the history of some notable buildings, especially in Venice, so they can see and enjoy them first-hand. Beginning April 25th, 2024 a new access fee will be implemented for visitors to Venice. While some visitors are exempt from this fee, others will be required to pay.
