My name is Yuliya. Originally I am from Ukraine living in Munich now. Since 2008 I am a tour guide. With my M. A. in political science & history and with my background as a professional visual artist, I enjoy giving extraordinary sightseeing tours in and around Munich to show you the most beautiful and special places. I adore telling existing stories that are fact-based and comprehensive due to my background in political science. The best way to provide you with the information and to inspire you is to do it in quiz form, where you can participate actively and thus make your visit memorable. As you are my quests, I would like to introduce myself first. I moved to Munich to study history and political science and have lived here since 2004. I hold a Magister Artium degree from the Ludwig-Maximilians-University and worked as a marketing manager after my studies. Since 2008 I have worked as a tour guide and conducted more than 100 city tours in and around Munich. During my tours I would like to share with you the charming and controversial atmosphere of Munich. Its history is a combination of romantic stories and its gloomy past such as the Third Reich. We will walk along the streets to see all the great architecture or visit the fairy-tale castle Neuschweinstein. Since I am also a visual artist (I'm taking classes at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich), I show more than just the history of the Third Reich.
