Hello! My name is Sara, I am both a licensed tour guide and a passionate storyteller! I love showing people around the beauty of Bologna, Emilia-Romagna region and Venice, but I also love the idea of actually sharing the experience with you, so that each and every tour will be a mutual experience: for you and also for me! I was born and raised in Bologna but at the age of 19 I decided to fly to France where I got my bachelor's degree in History and my Master Degree in Achival Sciences. History and History of Art are big interests of mine as well as learning languages. I then came back to Bologna and eventually considered the Tour Guide career as the perfect job for me: I love to learn and share knowledge, but I think that the best way to do it is in a fun, informal and engaging way: that's my style! I want people to feel comfortable and in a friendly environment. I have a soft spot for the smallest traces of the past hidden in the cities: I look for them as if I'm playing a scavenger hunt. During my tours I try to mix up secrets and highlights, culture and traditions, lifestyle and gastronomy. I will never leave out the most iconic symbols of the historical and artistic heritage, but sometimes the best stories are hidden in the least visible places, in real local people and of course in food!
