Once a Spanish Queen came here and fell in love with La Concha bay. She established her summer residence in San Sebastian. This way a navy base became a fancy resort. Since the end of the XIX century loads of European aristocracy, bourgeoisie and bohemians made this city their favourite place to go to. The sould of this unusual city discovers in stunning La Concha promenade and Art Nouveau style buildings, the glamorous riverbank and the stir of the Old Town.
