Hello, I'm Maria, an archaeologist and licensed tour guide with 25 years of experience. My lifelong passion for history, mythology, storytelling, and culture led me to become a tour guide after earning a degree in Archaeology in 1992. I furthered my expertise with postgraduate studies in ancient building restoration at the NTUA School of Architecture, along with archaeological excavations of Bronze Age burial sites in Western Greece. Additionally, I served as a culture consultant for UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador for 4 years. Since becoming a Licensed Tour guide in 1997, I've worked with top tour operators. For the past 7 years, I've been crafting unique cultural and customised tours in Athens and throughout Greece.
