Hi, my name is Kevin and for the last 30 years I have had the good fortune to call Munich my home. The original plan was to stay for one year, but I quickly fell in love with this city and all of Bavaria, and the rest, as they say, is history. Now I have the opportunity to show others what makes Munich and the state of Bavaria so special and endearing. I offer a different set of tours than most other guides. I have chosen exclusive destinations full of charm and history - and we always go the beautiful way. My commitment to you is to offer the best service possible and to make sure each day you spend with me is an enjoyable one. After all, it is your vacation! I offer a couple of tours in and around the city, but most of my tours are excursions to fascinating locations all over Bavaria as well as to the alpine regions south of Munich. My close-to-the-city tours tend to last between three and six hours, while the excursions normally last nine or ten hours, due to the driving time. All tours are at a relaxed pace, with plenty of time to sample local fare. And you will never have to wait in a line for tickets! We will use a vehicle on all tours except where noted in the tour description. As many of my excursions are unique tours to beautiful locations that no one else offers, they are perfect for those who wish to avoid the maddening crowds. They are also ideal for anyone who has already been to Munich and already seen the mass tourism highlights. If you are a photographer, you will love my tours! I am an accomplished photographer myself, and have selected routes and locations perfect for landscape, rural and nature photography. In fact, almost all of my tours can be customized at your wish to be a pure photography trip! Most of my tours are also wonderful for families, as they include activities fun for both young and old. Additionally I have a couple tours specifically designed for those with youngsters along. Are you a golfer? I offer specially priced day trips to the best courses around Munich and other beautiful layouts within easy driving distance from the city. I can organize equipment and gear - everything except shoes - and can even play with you if desired (I generally shoot in the mid 80's).
