Half Day Sete Cidades Tour

We will add some adventure on your holidays in the Azores getting off the usual tourist routes on a 4WD tour to Sete Cidades. Located on the west side of Sao Miguel island, we explore one of the most beautiful Seven Wonders of Portugal where the volcanic craters gave rise to numerous lakes surrounded by lush vegetation, each one with its own unique beauty like Santiago Lake and of corse the emblematic blue and green waters of the Twin Lakes. Along the way, we will stop in several viewpoints for you to contemplate the most beautiful landscape and learn the volcanic history of the island. On sunny days the volcano rim - Cumeeiras Trail - the most dramatic dirt trail in the whole island, accessible only by foot or with a 4X4 vehicle, is a must do with stunning views from both sides.
