Drive in luxury to see Aberdeen University, Kings College Chapel and St Machar's Cathedral in the Old Town. Relax as we drive along the beach (1 mile long) to visit the old fishing village of Footdee, or Fittie as it is known locally, at the harbour mouth. Stop for a coffee and waffles or if you prefer a rowie (local morning roll) at Mackie's 19. 2 Ice cream parlour in Marischal Square. Enjoy hearing the stories of the city as we walk to Aberdeen's oldest building, Provest Skene's House, the tales behind the statues and the principle buildings. All this before a walk trough St Nicholas graveyard to The Prince of Wales Pub for a traditional Scottish pub lunch.
- 9am Drive to Old Aberdeen (15 mins) - 9. 15 am Walk around the University's quadrangle, view Cromwell's tower and Bishop Elphinstone's memorial. The cobbled streets of the old town have many secrets within to explore before we reach the Cathedral. - Pick up 10. 30 am, set off along the pleasure beach to Footdee. - Coffee and waffles at 11 am in the city centre. - 11. 30 am Set off walking to view the principle buildings including The Art Gallery, His Majesty's Theatre, and the city library all built form granite stone, which sparkles in the sunlight. - 1. 15 pm. Prince of Wales pub, longest bar in the city. This tour can be customised according to your wishes
