Thank you for visiting my profile. To avoid wasting your valuable time, please check my availability before contacting me. I am a lifetime traveler, a mother of two adult sons, and a national government licensed guide interpreter who has been living in Tokyo for 35 years. One of my childhood dreams was to become an expert who could command the English language like an English interpreter or a cabin attendant. Learning about Japanese history was also intriguing. I, therefore, majored in Japanese history, minored in English language education, and worked as an English teacher in high school and tutoring school. I lived in Hong Kong for six years, enjoying parenting and cultural exchange. These experiences have changed my perspective on Japan, also inspired me to learn more about my country and the English language again. Then, I obtained the national government tour guide license so that I could share my comprehensive knowledge about Japan with foreign travelers. Since 2016, I have provided a lot of tours in TOKYO, NIKKO, HAKONE, KYOTO, NARA, HIMEJI, and HIROSHIMA. During the tours, my clients always ask me various and unexpected questions about Japan. On the other hand, they share interesting information about their countries with me, which has broadened my horizons and trained me to be a better guide. I feel very happy when I see smiling faces of my clients during my tours. I have been grateful for them and clearly realized that this is my favorite and best job combining my childhood dream, interests, and pleasure. There are a lot of things I enjoy such as traveling, learning world history, appreciating art and architecture, photography, doing general things, etc. Especially, I traveling abroad based on the itineraries I make on my own. I have explored around 25 countries so far, but experienced countless troubles and wasted traveling time. Local people always helped me, which is still heartwarming and priceless. However, from my experiences, I'm sure that having a tour guide helps you to efficiently travel around Japan. Also, learning about Japan from the guide would make your trip much more meaningful, colorful and unforgettable. Then I'm here to assist you. I am flexible about itineraries and arrange your tours to meet your preferences. I am very much pleased to make your travel special by sharing my experiences, comprehensive knowledge, and love of all things Japanese with you. Thank you very much for reading. I hope to see you on my tours! *National government licensed guide interpreter (Cert.
