Coastline, Castles and Caves Full Day Tour

Depending to the tide, this tour may vary in which site we visit first and last. - Head down to Dunnottar Castle, for a tour of the castle situated on a small peninsula with the sea on 3 sides. - Visit the small harbour at Stonehaven for coffee and cakes overlooking the bay. - Drive North to Cruden Bay and visit Slains Castle, inspiration for Bram Stoker's "Dracula" ( Option to walk in here about 1 mile if visitors prefer, car pick up at castle) - 5 minute drive to see the Bullers of Buchan sunken cave, where smuggling was common place on many a stormy night. - Leave for Saplingbrae Hotel for lunch break with a menu of local seafood a speciality. - Head off towards Fraserburgh and a drive along the coastline to New Aberdour bay and the caves made of Old Red Sandstone. - Drop down to Pennan village, where the film Local Hero was filmed - Return to Aberdeen Customization of this tour possible upon request.
